Requirements and regulations under Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor

A copy of the requirements and regulation by JKNS. Any differences to the requirements require a letter of cause by the owner or developer (Eg: my exit door cant be knocked down to 1.2m due to the beams, hence my owner released a letter of support to allow the exception which KKM will approve).

  1. Hi, thx a lot for a lot of info providence for reference on opening a new clinic. I would like to ask on Part 1 - Policy & Procedure [Written Policy of R.71 "Organised Maintenance Programme"], this shall provided by the KKM or JKN? Or it has to be prepared by the owner? Because we don't have sample of it therefore we don't know how to prepare for a written policy of Organised Maintenance Programme.

    1. Hello,

      R.71 is prepared by the owner. A general outline of maintenance of the overall clinic. Eg: electricity, water, sanitation and upkeep. However, in my past inspection by CKAPS/UKAPS, it was no longer indicated in their forms. But I recalled the officer mentioning to us that R.71 is mostly about building and clinic maintenance.

    1. Hello. You need to have a fridge for vaccines and an oxygen tank with humidifier and mask prior to ukaps inspection. Vaccines has to be categorized and labelled accordingly.
